Vital Hospitality provides professional, skilled hospitality
staff of the highest standard.
Stephanie Borrell is our trainer. Steph has over 15 years of practical hospitality experience, working from dish washing in kitchens to managing fine dining restaurants, bars and everything inbetween, from Hokitika on the West Coast to New Orleans, USA.
We supply:
Catering Companies, Corporate clients, Hotels, Restaurants
and Bars, Sports Stadiums, Private Functions and Events.

Vital Hospitality is the industry's preferred supplier. We
can provide all hospitality staffing needs through our helpful
and professional office staff.
We provide a range of front of house service staff, starting
with entry level Senior Cadets who have successfully completed an
intense in-house training program (17-20yrs of age), through to intermediate
Focus staff who have a minimum of one to two years operational
experience behind them (20+ years of age), and finally highly skilled Silver
Service staff who have at least three to four year's experience
behind them.
Vital temporary staff are sourced from several areas to ensure
a high standard of presentation and skill is maintained. Staff
are selected primarily for high levels of grooming, presentation,
skills and motivation. During the peak season of October -
April, we employ approximately 200 - 250 staff and between
May - September 100 - 150 approximately.
There are 4 levels of Front-of-House Food and Beverage service
staff available:

SENIOR CADET – Completed Vital training programmes.
Able to meet intermediate floor responsibilities. Suitable for Cocktail parties/private functions.

FOCUS TEAM – Completed Vital training programmes. Able to meet intermediate bar and floor responsibilities. Suitable for Cocktail parties/private functions.

SENIOR FOCUS – At least 1 year’s relevant experience. Able to meet intermediate bar and floor duties. Suitable for Cocktail parties/private functions.

SILVER TEAM – At least 3 - 4 years hospitality experience with ability to meet advanced bar and floor responsibilities and able to perform Silver Service.
Each staff member employed may only progress to a higher
skill level after completing a full in-house
training module and an internal assessment ensuring Vital's
high standard of staff presentation and skill is maintained
at all levels.
Rates and Bookings
Minimum Hours
There is a four hour minimum per staff member per assignment.
Travel Expenses
Will be incurred for staff who are required to travel more
than 20 kilometres from Central Auckland. Fees are normally
determined on each assignment.
Confirmations
All bookings are confirmed by fax, phone or e-mail the same
day where possible or at least within 24 hours from the original
request. A staff listing will be faxed at least 12 hours prior
to the assignment commencing.
Cancellations
Must be advised by email or by phone 09 921 4320
Cancellation fee within 24 Hours of Function
= $10.00 per staff member booked
Urgent booking fee within 4 hours of function
= $20.00 per staff member booked
There are no charges for booking or cancelling a function
more than 24 hours prior to commencement.
Terms & Conditions For Placements
The terms and conditions of service of Vital Hospitality
Ltd. in providing personnel recruitment services on a Temporary,
Temp-to-hire, Contract or Permanent basis (hereby referred
to as "staff") to persons, organisations, companies
and Government or Council Bodies (hereby referred to as "client")
are hereby set out as follow.
Acceptance
Vital Hospitality Ltd. will provide personnel recruitment
services on the following Terms & Conditions only which
will have been deemed to be accepted by the "client"
upon commencement of provision of any personnel services.
Bookings
Vital Hospitality must be advised in writing by fax or by
e-mail of the selected "staff" for the "client"
functions. Rates will apply depending on the "staff"
selected for work and rates are available from the current
Rate Schedule pertaining to hourly rates for each "staff"
member supplied. Full details of all requirements must be
clearly outlined by the "client" to Vital Hospitality
pertaining to any special request such as the following:
- Skill level, presentation and staff uniforms.
- Specific commencement times and estimated conclusion of
functions.
- Address and contact on site of assignment with appropriate
function details.
- Any special requirements of "staff" during the
assignment. Should no specific requirements be forwarded
to Vital Hospitality, no liability may be apportioned for
unsuitable or unprepared "staff".
Cancellations
All cancellations must be advised in writing or by phone
to Vital Hospitality . by the "client" at least
48 hours prior to the assignment commencing. Should Vital
Hospitality be unable to contact the "staff" assigned
to the "client" prior to the start of the function,
a cancellation fee of four hours will be applied per "staff"
member at the appropriate rate of service level plus GST.
Goods & Services Tax
All of our rates are quoted exclusive of GST and will be
added to all service invoices for either Temporary or Temp-to-hire,
Contract or Permanent "staff".
Governing Law
These terms and conditions shall be construed, interpreted
and governed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand.
Occupational Safety & Health
The "client" agrees to comply with all current
codes of practice as set out by OSH a division of the Dept.
Of Labour and the Health & Safety in Employment Act 1992.
The "client" also agrees to take all practicable
steps to ensure the health and safety of the "staff"
during all times whilst working at their premises. If for
any reason a "staff" member is injured whilst working
on an assignment for the "client", the "client"
will take all reasonable steps to ensure the prompt attention
and care of the "staff" under the requirements of
the Act and will also notify Vital Hospitality Ltd. of any
injuries.
The "client" will also indemnify Vital Hospitality
Ltd. for all and any claims in respect of liability arising
from the injury of the "staff" whilst on assignment
to the "client". Any claims made directly to Vital
Hospitality Ltd. from ALL or any agency or insurer will be
directed to the "client" where the injury occurred.
Responsibilities Of The Client
- The "client" will be responsible for any insurance
cover if "staff" are required to operate vehicles,
be responsible for cash handling, equipment or operate machinery.
Vital Hospitality Ltd. cannot be held responsible for or
liable for any losses or damage incurred.
- The "client" will be responsible for the supervision
and control of the "staff" on assignment and should
ensure that all "staff" are correctly briefed
on their duties and expectations. Vital Hospitality will
not be held responsible for any omissions or acts of the
"staff" whilst on assignment to the "client"
whether wilful, negligent or otherwise.
